This story was an exercise that challenged us to create a cohesive and compelling plot.  Plot is exactly what you think it is: the events that fold within the story from beginning to end.  There are many helpful sources on Google that show plot charts and other information on how to write a gripping narrative.

Sunday Drive is a cautionary tale about what can happen when the wrong choices are made.  Professor Gutierrez enjoyed the suspense as well as Brian's thoughts and actions, all of which are typical for a teenager.  This story received a B+ from my instructor, who was hoping to see a conversation between Brian and his parents at the end of the story.  Come to think about it, I do, too!
